Based on the East Coast, where she lives with her husband, daughter, and menagerie of rescue pets, Kelly’s always been a reader, never a writer, despite being told for years, “You should write a book!” (she’s never been one to listen to the opinions of others, even if it is a good idea). Then she read Tara Sivec’s Summersweet Island series, finally got inspired to write a series of her own (infused with the nostalgia of emo music, some personal experience, and a whole lot of breakfast foods), and here we are.
When not writing low-spice, pop-punk-inspired romances with fiesty, flawed women and the men who love them, you can find Kelly with a book in hand (or her ears), iced coffee nearby, and craving a crunchy, salty snack. Never one to turn down a trip to the beach, a concert, or a Baltimore Orioles game, she also loves a well-placed f-word, a good dad joke, and wondering how she got selected for the kitten distribution system because, yes, there is a thing as too many cats.
